NiWest Lateritic Nickel Project

SRK is currently providing geological support to conduct Definitive Feasibility Study for Alliance Nickel’s NiWest lateritic nickel project.

Support activities to date have included:

Design and monitoring of an infill and extension air core and diamond core drilling program. Its objectives included increasing the size and confidence in the mineral resource inventory, further validation of historical data, the collection of samples for waste rock characterization, and sterilization drilling.
Field management of a Sonic drilling program that collected samples suitable for metallurgical, geochemical, density and moisture testing.
Regional exploration for calcrete occurrences, with the aim of identifying deposits that contain material suitable for use as a neutralizer in the process plant.
The preparation of Mineral Resource estimates and Competent Person sign-off for selected deposits in the project area.
